One year ends and another begins! Welcome to all the new faces around the ANU School of Art and welcome back to all the old ones. 2016 is already shaping up to be a full and exciting year for the School of Art and I wanted to take this chance to share some of the opportunities and events that you might like to take part in.
The School of Art Society has will be running a stall at the ANU Market day on the 10th of February. The young society is run to support students at the School of Art and to help them to share their talents with the wider ANU community. If you would like to know more or to be involved with the Society, feel free to send an email to email@example.com or to like the Facebook page at: www.facebook.com/anusoas
Coming up on Friday the 4th of March our wonderful staff have successfully applied for money to fund a big School of Art family lunch where a panel of alumni will be talking and answering questions about their experiences in and out of university. It will be a fantastic way to break down some of the barriers between practicing students and Art History students, make friends in different studios, and introduce new students to continuing students. If you are a School of Art student, come down to the area outside Foundation Studies at 2pm on the 4th of March and help us celebrate the start of an exciting new year at the School of Art.
